Here is my ever expanding TODO list, mostly about stuff related to computer science. New additions will pile on the bottom, until I figure a neater way to track this.
- Take back the 30 years of computer innovation I missed by being born late (and 14 I missed by starting too late), and learn about the history and present state of computer architecture and machine language to the point I feel I understand the underlying concepts of today’s driving technology. (As the saying goes, to understand the present (and envision the future), you have to understand the past!)
- Learn about the history and basic concepts of telecommunication, as well as the modern developments in the telecom industry.
- Read all volumes of Donald Knuth‘s “The Art of Computer Programming”.
- Grok all volumes of previous work.
- Really learn mathematics and physics (LTG).
- Learn about efficient computer algorithms.
- Learn about and understand electricity.
- Learn about electronics.
